Membership
Become part of the association
The association is open to different forms of participation. Those who want to actively contribute and help decide become full members. Those who want to support the association in spirit become extraordinary members — free of charge. This keeps the barrier low without diluting the active core.
Types of membership
There are four types of membership:
| Type | Annual fee | Voting right | For whom |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full members | €50 | yes | People who want to actively contribute, do research and help decide in the General Assembly. |
| Extraordinary members | free | no | Supporters in spirit, multipliers and network partners. Donations remain voluntary. |
| Honorary members | free | no | People who have rendered outstanding service to the association. Appointed by the board. |
| Scientific members | free | no | Experts who advise the board on the Scientific Advisory Board. Appointed by the board. |
The annual fee for full members is €50 and is payable within 30 days of the admission decision. There is no joining fee.
Application and admission
1 — Application
You send us your application informally by e-mail or post — with your name, address, date of birth, desired membership type and a few words about your connection to the association’s purpose.
2 — Decision
The board decides on admission by resolution. There is no legal entitlement to admission.
3 — Notification
If accepted, you receive a notification in text form. Membership takes effect with the admission decision.
4 — Fee
Full members transfer the annual fee within 30 days. No fee applies for all other membership types.
How to apply
An online application form is in preparation and will be added once the association is officially registered. Until then, applying in written form is the intended route — exactly as the statutes expressly permit as an exception.
Please do not send health or disability data unprompted — this is not required for membership and is not collected.
